Development of total revenue
The majority (>81%) of our income comes from public funds. We obtain these funds through public tenders, funding programmes and research work. onations correspond to approximately 8% of our income. We generated almost 5% through services, sponsoring currently accounts for 4.6% of our funds.
Projects financed by individual donations or based on voluntary work
Our projects are often initiated by voluntary work and driven by passionate individuals. Individual donations make the continuity and independence of these tools for the public good possible. Help us by donating today!
Most costs are linked to the implementation of projects and the organization of events. We try to keep fixed costs (non project-related expenditure) low. Rent, ancillary costs for the Berlin office and server expenses represent the majority of such costs.** for example infrastructure, book keeping, insurances
We currently employ around 18.5 full-time equivalent staff.
Notice of exemption [DE]
The notice of exemption is issued by the tax office for corporations and indicates that we are tax-privileged.
At the turn of the year 2017/18, OKF switched to balance sheet preparation.
